Monte was selected for the truckers spotlight for his many years of dedication to keeping the big rigs on the road and helping truckers.

As mentioned on the trucker spotlight main page, Monte went to work in the transportation industry back in 1974 right after serving the country as a member of the army.

When he is not working hard to keep operations running smooth as the Director of Maintenance for Perimeter Transportation, LLC in Memphis, Tennesssee, Monte spends his time on a forty acre homestead located in Mississippi.

We asked Monte what he did for enjoyment besides helping keep truckers on the road.

Monte replied that he enjoyed fishing, riding horses, working on cars, and spending time with family and friends. In addition, seeing America with his wife as shown by the scene of the Hoover Dam in the background of his picture ranks as one of his favorite hobbies.
